CAPT Charles M. (Chuck) McCleskey, USN (RET.) was commissioned in 1981 after graduating from Vanderbilt University NROTC with a degree in Electrical Engineering. A qualified Surface Warfare line officer, CAPT McCleskey served 26 years in the NAVY in both active and reserve roles, including the Command of 3 Navy Reserve units and tours at HQ USEUCOM, NATO EASTLANT, and COMSIXTHFLT.  CAPT McCleskey has served on the Atlanta Metro Council Board of Directors for 30 years and is a Past Council President. He and his wife, Lisa, reside in Atlanta.
